Avowed Will Be “Obsidian’s Version Of The Elder Scrolls”, and It Will Not Disappoint RPG Fans

Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind Fallout: New Vegas and South Park: The Stick of Truth, is set to release its next game, Avowed. The game has been in development for a while now and will be released on November 20th.

The obsidian avowed is a new upcoming game from the developers of the popular Fallout and Fallout: New Vegas games. Obsidian has promised that their newest game will be an epic RPG experience, and they haven’t let anyone down yet.

Avowed may deliver news at the Game Awards, according to a journalist who has had a first look at it.

We have a lot of questions about Avowed. The next Obsidian game seemed to be distant from giving us news, despite a debut trailer that made us fall in love. However, the developer has already said that they will soon provide more facts about the game, which has already started with details that portray the experience as if Obsidian were to create his own version of The Elder Scrolls.

This was stated by Jez Corden, a Windows Central journalist, in an exclusive interview in which he shares some early impressions of Avowed, which is still in its early stages. In this sense, the author of the post has been shocked by anything new Obsidian has released, and will continue on the path of their Pillars of Eternity world to offer an RPG first-person shooter set in a medieval and mystical setting.

The feelings, however, go beyond this, as the same writer claims to have been playing something so different from Obsidian that it might be compared to a combination of The Outer Worlds and Pillars of Eternity, culminating in a new universe created entirely by the developer’s imagination. Avowed would enable us to utilize numerous classes and experiment with new game approaches since it follows the traditional RPG patterns.

In this manner, the journalist has discovered parallels with other games that steer clear of plagiarism in order to make their way into Avowed. The character classes, for example, will be supplemented with a fighting system reminiscent of The Elder Scrolls, complete with the ability to use two-handed weapons. However, fans of magic will not be left out, as the essence of Pillars of Eternity is also gathered with real spells such as lightning, which will fry any foes that come in our path.

Furthermore, all magical and physical attacks will have an impact beyond the character and NPCs, as Avowed will feature a destructible scenario with which we can experiment with a variety of weapons and movements, such as powerful kicks or shield blows, as well as “mountains of spells in a gigantic list” that will allow us to tailor a sorcerer to our specifications.

Avowed will use the traditional RPG elements of The Elder Scrolls series to integrate them into a much more colorful environment, continuing the influences of The Elder Scrolls. “Caves of luminous mushrooms, green woods filled with enormous flora, and magnificent temples lit by the sun with depths and tombs inhabited with skeletons” will be among the images left. In other words, it’s a game that any RPG fan will enjoy.

Corden, on the other hand, can’t help but guess when it comes to stories and global scale. Based on his impressions of the game, he is undecided about whether he will follow the open worlds of The Elder Scrolls or prefer a system like that of The Outer Worlds, which links regions. Despite this, the writer believes that the game’s story will play an important part since “it is one of the study’s stronger aspects.”

Avowed looks fantastic, even if it is just with these words; Corden promises that the game’s visual quality will increase, since he has played a version that still lacks light dances and certain textures, so he does not share pictures of his experience to prevent speculation. However, we may be in for one of Obsidian’s most powerful releases yet.

Finally, the journalist follows in the footsteps of the developer, assuring the fans that we will learn more about the game shortly. In this regard, Corden believes Obsidian will reveal additional details about its game during the next Game Awards, which we already know the exact date for. It’s also possible that we won’t learn anything about the trip until E3 2022. Whatever the case may be, Avowed promises to be a perfect experience for all RPG fans, and although we don’t yet know when it will be published, we do know that it will be available on PC and Xbox Series, allowing it to take use of both platforms’ strengths.
