MSI Publishes Windows 11 Auto HDR Compatible Monitors List

MSI has published a list of Windows 11 compatible monitors that support the new HDR technology. This is an important step for gaming as it will allow gamers to enjoy games with higher quality visuals than ever before.

MSI has published a list of Windows 11 compatible monitors. The list includes the Acer Predator XB271HU, Asus ROG Swift PG27AQ, and more.

MSI has released a list of Windows 11 Auto HDR compatible monitors, verifying which displays are compatible with one of the operating system’s most exciting new gaming capabilities. Auto HDR, which is built into Windows 11, increases highlights, shadow detail, and more in hundreds of DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games that were initially mastered in SDR. All Windows 11 users have to do is acquire an HDR-certified monitor (like the ones MSI has provided below) and turn on Auto HDR under the Windows HD Color settings.

According to Microsoft:

While some game studios create for HDR gaming PCs by mastering their game natively for HDR, Auto HDR for PC automatically expands the color/brightness range of DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 SDR-only games to HDR. It’s a platform feature that will offer you a fantastic new gaming experience that fully utilizes the possibilities of your HDR display. The word “auto” in the title alludes to how simple it is to activate the function; a simple settings toggle flip will turn it on and off.
