Diwali, or the Festival of Lights, is a Middle Eastern celebration that starts this Thursday, November 4th. It’s also known as the Festival of Lights, and it’s a time to pray for future success, let go of negative ideas, and, most importantly, spread joy with a dazzling display of lights and fireworks. Whether you reside in that area or not, there’s always time for another holiday, particularly one that rewards you with wonderful Pokémon GO items. Here’s all you need to know about the Pokémon GO Festival of Lights event.
The Pokémon GO Festival of Lights event will begin on November 4th at 10:00 a.m. local time and run through November 14th at 8:00 p.m. local time. During the event, particular Pokémon will appear in the wild more often, and players will get advantages connected to presents and friendship.
Any Pokémon you carry around with you as a friend will have its friendship level rise at a quicker pace for the duration of the event. You’ll also be able to open up to 45 presents every day from pals, with the benefits rising as you do so. On Sunday, November 7, Indian players will get a special bonus: all catches will provide double candy, and Blitzle and Dedenne will come more often.
